[Also in Division E2] A shelf 9 is supported by a number of rods or tubes each carrying a clamp comprising a split collar 1 with tapered ends which is clamped between members 5 and 6 which have internal tapered surfaces and which screw together. Preferably, the members are of p.v.c. or polystyrene and have knurled or hexagonal flanges 7, 8, and the member 5 has an external thread to receive a nut 10 for securing the shelf 9 against the flange 7.
