113,068. Delaporte, M. Aug. 17, 1917. Pulleys intended to revolve at high speeds are strenghtened by fitting hoops tightly on the hubs, after the manner of gun construction. Figs. 4, 5 and 6 show examples of disks a<4>, a<5> , a<6> strengthened by hoops c<4>, d<4>, Fig. 4, by hoops c<5> and wire bands e<5> under tension, Fig. 5, and by outer hoops d<6> and inset hoops f<6>, Fig. 6.
