July 18, 1966 [July 19, 1965; July 20, 1965; Aug.5, 1965; Aug.24, 1965; Sept. 15, 1965; Sept.17, 1965 (2); Dec.25, 1965], No.32128/66. Headings G2A and G2L. A flash bulb magazine in which the bulbs 1 are fired in rapid succession has a frame 3 of synthetic resin provided with hollows 4 polished or vacuum coated with metallic material to serve as reflectors. The frame (3) Fig. 4 (not shown) may have a cover sheet 6 of synthetic resin which for colour photography may be coloured to correspond to an illumination colour. In a modification, a transparent cover 3d, Fig. 9, is fitted over base 3c provided with reflectors 8 of aluminium sheet. An arrangement for quickly mounting flash bulbs on to the body is described with reference to Figs. 19 and 20 (not shown) in which bulbs are inserted through openings (15). A device for firing the bulbs in succession is descraibed with reference to Fig.25. The device has a rotary drum 103 carrying contacts 104, 104' for successively firing bulbs 1 on rotation of a knob 110 independently of the film winding means of the camera. In another embodiment, Figs.31 to 41 (not shown) the bulbs are fired through actuation of camera release (212) when a lever (210) is set for flash.
