Abstract

1,128,227. Grommets. HEYMAN MFG. CO. 4 Oct., 1966 [18 Oct., 1965], No. 44371/66. Heading F2H. [Also in Division H2] A grommet comprises a flange 11 at one end, and a plurality of deformable wing-like members 13, 14 around the body, the members having abutment faces 35, 36 at differing distances from the flange 11 so that the grommet can be fitted to plates of varying thickness. A face (35), Fig. 8, not shown, may diverge away from the plane of the flange.
