[Also in Division B5] A vibration isolator or absorber comprises multi-strand cable sections the ends of which are embedded in spaced anchoring blocks during the moulding thereof. The cable sections may be separate, Fig. 1, or interconnected lengths of a single cable in serpentine configuration, Fig. 2. The isolator may comprise three spaced anchoring blocks with intermediate cable sections and the central block may be angled, Fig. 6 (not shown).
