1,124,340. Magnetic storage devices. TOKYO SHIBAURA ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. 17 Nov., 1965 [20 Nov., 1964], No. 48794/65. Heading H3B. [Also in Division H1] A magnetic film memory comprises an insulating support 5 coated on both major surfaces with thin magnetic films 61, 62, bit locations being defined by parallel word lines 71, 72, 73 bonded on both films 61, 62 as shown and parallel digit lines 81,. 82, 83 perpendicular to the word lines. The arrangement enables an increase in packing and reduction in magnetic interference between adjacent bits and creeping. The spacing between adjacent word lines and between adjacent digit lines is less than or substantially equal to 2 mm. and the films are each less than 1000 Š thick.
