Abstract
The invention comprises optically active compounds of formula <F\1> wherein X is a 1-methyl-ethylene or 2-methyl -ethylene radical, R1 and R2, which may be the same or different, are hydrogen atoms or C1- 5 alkyl groups, or R1 and R2 in combination form a ring, and R3 is a hydrogen or halogen atom or an alkyl, alkoxy or acyl group, acid addition salts thereof, and their preparation by conversion of the corresponding racemate into a salt with an optically active acid, and separating the salts by fractional crystallization, followed, if desired, by regeneration of the base and resalification. The compounds of the invention have central nervous system stimulating activity.
