Abstract

Moulds.-Interlocking tiles of cementitious material are moulded by dishes 1, Fig. 2, with lids 10, the bottom of the dish forming the ribs on the top of the tile and the lid forming the corresponding grooves on the top. Alternatively, dishes without lids are nested as shown in Fig. 5. An example of the kind of tile produced is shown in Figs. 6 and 7. The top of the tile has an end rib 34 and side ribs 35, and the bottom has corresponding grooves 33, 32. At one end there is a tongue 31 and at the other a metal tab 17 which is partly embedded in the material. Strengthening netting may be incorporated.
