Abstract

1,118,865. Animal growth promoters. RHONE-POULENC S.A. 3 April, 1967 [4 April, 1966], No. 15206/67. Heading A5B. Animal feedstuff comprises as a growth promoter, antibiotic 8036 R.P. or sodium salt thereof. The antibiotic 8036 R.P. is claimed in Specification 1086780. The antibiotic is obtained from culture media of the microorganism designated Streptomyces canadieusis. In the Example the feedstuff comprises maize, wheat, soyabean flour, fish meal, meat meal, fish hydrolysate, inorganic salts, vitamins and the sodium salt of 8036 R.P.
