Abstract

1,107,469. Cine projectors. EASTMAN KODAK CO. May 14, 1965 [May 14, 1964], No. 20415/65. Heading G2E. Cover 34 is hinged to housing 10 of a cine projector and is opened to the position shown for projection of filmstrip 14 which passes from supply reel 15 to take-up reel 17 via lamp housing 12, the reels being driven in opposite directions 21, 22 through slipping clutches 23, 24 to provide film tension. Reel spindles 19, 20 have pulleys 25, 26 driven by belt 28, pin hinge 35 taking up slackness in the belt when the cover is closed.
