Abstract

A semi-conducting glass-mica composite comprising mica and an electronically conducting glass bonded together in a solid body, said glass having a room temperature resistivity between 104 and 1012 ohm-cm.ALSO:A semi-conducting glass-mica composite comprising mica and an electronically conducting glass bonded together in a solid body, said glass having a room temperature resistivity of between 104 and 1012 ohm-cm., and a method of preparing said composite which comprises the steps of mixing frit of electronically conducting glass of said resistivity with finely divided mica and thereafter compressing the resulting substantially homogeneous mixture in the desired form to obtain the product.
