A photographic objective and shutter mount comprises separate elements 1, 5, 4 respectively for adjusting the focus of the objective 2, the shutter speed and the aperture of the objective diaphragm, the elements being arranged such that adjustment of the element 5 to a predetermined shutter speed appropriate for flash exposures allows of automatic coupling between the elements 1, 4. Rotation of the element 5 into the flash position allows a pin 9 to move into a recess 5c, thereby disengaging a lever 8 from a leaf spring 3 so that a portion 3a thereof is free to engage a recess 4a in the element 4, thus coupling the elements 1, 4. The element 1 includes a screw threaded portion 1a having a constant pitch which is such that, in the flash range, the adjustment of the focus causes the adjustment of the diaphragm aperture to an appropriate size.
