Abstract

The working depth of an implement attached to a tractor power lift mechanism is controlled in response to variations in the angular speed of the tractor in travelling over ground irregularities. The element which senses changes in the angular speed of the tractor can be a gyro or an oil bath in which two floats are fixed to the ends of a double armed lever pivoted at its centre. Means are incorporated for compensating the device for changes in the linear speed of the tractor.
