Abstract

1,103,868. Linkwork. FORD MOTOR CO. Ltd. 30 Nov., 1966, No. 53589/66. Heading F2K. A control device for a carheating system comprises two levers 10, 22 of plastics material and a plate 34, the levers 10, 22 being disposed on opposite sides of the plate 34 and being releasably interconnected at their lower ends through an aperture 36 in the plate 34. An arcuate slot 38 in the plate 34 receives hooks 18, 30 on the levers 10, 22, the hook 18 engaging the upper surface of the slot and the hook 30 engaging the lower surface thereof. The levers are located by two cavities 42 in the plate 34 adapted to engage a resilient member 28 on lever 22 and four cavities 44 adapted to engage a resilient member on lever 10. The connection between the levers at their lower ends comprises a T-shaped projection 12, Fig. 6, on lever 10 which engages a substantially rectangular slot in lever 22. Cables, such as 48, may be secured to the levers for actuation thereby.
