Abstract

A fowl feed composition comprises 1-6 parts by weight of a nutrient feed, and 1 part by weight of a mixture of lactose and dextrin.ALSO:Leukosis complex, arthritis, and allied conditions in fowl are treated or prevented by administering at least 10 grams per day, preferably 10-60 grams per day, of lactose or a mixture of lactose and dextrin, for example mixed with the food.
