Abstract

Episulphides are prepared by reacting a compound containing more than one epoxide group in the molecule with a thiourea in the presence of an inorganic base, and/or with a water-soluble thiocyanate. The invention also comprises episulphide compounds having one or more epoxide groups in the molecule.
