Abstract
1,097,394. Wheel balance weights. DUNLOP RUBBER CO. Ltd. April 8, 1965 [May 5, 1964], No. 18588/64. Heading B7C. A wheel balance weight comprising a clip 7 for attachment to a rim 3 has at least two portions spaced longitudinally of the weight and extending transversely therefrom to contact the rim and thus prevent rocking of the weight on the rim. In one embodiment the portions are provided by the ends of a concave surface 6 and in a second (Fig. 3, not shown) by projections at the ends of the weight. The clip 7 may be integral with or detachable from the body 2 of the weight. The body 2 consists of 92% by weight of lead and 8% antimony.
