A cleaning device comprises a sheet of washleather bonded to a sheet of foamed polyurethane by a waterproof flexible adhesive, the thickness of the polyurethane being about 5 to 10 times that of the wash-leather. The exposed surface of the polyurethane 11 is preferably profiled.
