A bag for sterile storage of surgical apparatus, ligatures, is substantially as described in Specification 1,022,088, but the weighted-flap closed bag within the outer bag contains a support secured between and at the bottom join of the flaps for fixing the position of the wrapping containing the apparatus. The support may have a vertical strip entering a slit in the wrapping.
