[Also in Division F2] A return stop for an electricity supply meter consists of a ratchet wheel 1, which is arranged for mounting on the rotor shaft of the meter, and a hooked pawl 2 which is mounted on a stationary member and provided with a hooked portion 22 of resilient plastics material adapted to engage with the ratchet wheel to restrain reverse movement of the rotor. The arm 21 of the pawl 2 is in the form of a length of spring wire bent into the form of a hairpin, the hook portion 22 of resilient plastics material being secured to the hairpin bend of the arm during a moulding operation.
