Abstract
The invention comprises compounds of formula A3SiOSiA3, where A is <FORM:1086982/C3/1> or <FORM:1086982/C3/2> and m is 0 or 1. They may be prepared by reacting a hexahalogenodisiloxane with a phenol or phenoxyphenol of formula <FORM:1086982/C3/3> or a naphthol of formula <FORM:1086982/C3/4> in the presence of a hydrohalide acceptor. The point of attachment of the phenyloxy, phenyl, or naphthyl groups may vary within the A group of any one compound. Uses.-Deformable media in projection systems.
