Abstract

1,086,947. Devices for cleaning louvres and venetian blinds. S. HODGES. Oct. 1, 1964 [Sept. 6, 1963], No. 35372/63. Heading A4F. A device for cleaning arrays of parallel slats as of louvres or venetian blinds comprises pairs of synthetic resin foam cleaning elements 1a, 1b and 1c ld mounted on aluminium strip bent to form pairs of tongs 3a, 3b and 3c, 3d so that two adjacent slats 6 may be engaged and cleaned simulanteously by the cleaning elements by manually squeezing together the arms 3a, 3d. Before use the cleaning elements are immersed in a soap or detergent solution. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 785,902.
