Abstract

1,086,124. Artificial Christmas Trees. E. C. REICHERT and J. C. LEWIS. June 29, 1965 [June 30, 1964], No. 27570/65. Heading A4X. In a brush-like construction for artificial Christmas tree branches, wreaths and the like a mixture of at least two synthetic fibres at least one of which is a halogencontaining fibre is twisted between wires, the halogen-containing fibre being present in at least 10% by volume of the total mixture. The fibres may be of such mixtures as polyvinyl chloride and polystyrene, the object being to obtain a mixture of non-flammable characteristics.
