[Also in Division F4] Two lamps of sufficient power for night driving are mounted underneath a vehicle at or adjacent the front axle and spaced at equal distances from the sides. Each lamp may point slightly downwards and is enclosed in a casing 14 having a front extension 17 to shield the glass or like transparent front 15. A powered wiper 16, e.g. driven by an electric motor 20, may be provided for cleaning the front 15 and may be assisted by powered water sprays.
