A sun visor comprises a back bore 1 formed from a metal strip bent to a keyhole section, a filling 2 of expanded polystyrene, a single sheet of cardboard or chipboard which overlies both faces of the filling and extends around the back bore, the whole being surrounded by a layer 5 of vinyl foam and an outer cover of polyvinyl chloride.
