Abstract

Metal modified alpha-polyolefine fibres are dyed using 4\sv-chloro-3-phenylazo-2,4-dihydroxy-quinoline preferably at 130 DEG C. In Examples nickel modified polypropylene fibres are dyed with the above compound giving yellow-green shades of good fastness to light and chlorinated solvents used in dry-cleaning.
