Abstract

The continuous or periodic addition of certain polyimines to flowing water allows alluvial deposits or potential deposits to be flushed away as a flux. The polyimines are obtained from monomers of general formula <FORM:1078219/C1/1> where R is hydrogen or alkyl of up to 4 carbon atom and R1 is R or hydroxyalkyl of up to 4 carbon atoms.
