[Also in Division F1] A linear electric motor driving an hydraulic pump is controlled by a timing motor, e.g. a synchronous motor, driving a reversing switch in circuit with the linear motor. A rheostat is included in the circuit for adjusting the stroke of the motor. In a modification two rheostats are included in the circuit so that the stroke in each direction may be adjusted. In a further embodiment the motor actuates coupled reversing switches at each end of its stroke.
