1,076,667. Cine projection and copying apparatus. CHIRANA, ZAVODY ZDRAVOTNICKE TECHNIKY OBOROVY PODNIK ZAVODY MODRANY. Oct. 15, 1965 [Dec.9, 1964], No.43768/65. Heading G2E. In a cine projector which permits the enlargement of single exposures, and also the contact copying of the processed enlargements on to photo-sensitive material carried in a cassette 21, the objective lens tube 11 is axially movable in bush 13 and has a mirror 8 directing the projection beam on to screen 9, cassette 21 being pivotable about spindle 29 to intercept the projection beam and its support 28 being coupled by groove and pin to an adjustment ring 23 bearing a cam 26. Rotation of ring 23 by means of handle 22 swings cassette 21 into position and the engagement of cam 26 with flange 30 of tube 11 refocuses lens 7 on to the exposure plane 31 of the cassette. Wheel 10 is used to focus lens 7 on to screen 9, tube 11 being moved against spring 17. The brightness of lamp 3 is controlled for exposures by a shutter lever 20, and a time-switch is provided. For the contact printing, film F is removed from gate 5 and the processed exposure 40 to be copied is inserted in the exposure plane 31 of the cassette in front of the unexposed stock 32.
