Abstract

1,075,881. Endless conveyers. VEREINIGTE BAECKEREIMASCHINENWERKE, HALLE/SAALE, VEB. March 25, 1965, No. 12636/65. Heading B8A. Apparatus for depositing pieces of dough on a stationary or moving member (not shown) comprises an endless belt 7 of which a portion 7a may be retracted (Fig. 2, not shown) to deposit the pieces of dough. The belt portion 7a passes around a roller 9 which is connected to a chain 1 and is reciprocated horizontally thereby. The ends of the chain are connected to a carriage 3 which derives a horizontal reciprocatory movement from a pin 15 engaging in a slot 16 in the carriage. The pin 15 is attached to a chain 14 intermittently driven by a sprocket and chain 10, 11. Each period of drive is sufficient to produce one complete reciprocation of the carriage 3 and of the conveyer portion 7a.
