Abstract

1,075,502. Endless conveyers; cleaning. K. H. ROSKOPF, [trading as KARL-HEINZ ROSKOPF]. May 17, 1965 [May 21, 1964], No. 20840/65. Heading B8A. A scraper device for the throw-off roller of a conveyer belt comprises a tongue 24, Fig. 2, of soft material adjustably retained between a pair of guides 15 and fed towards the belt surface by a worm and worm-wheel 21, 22 or ratchet gear driving feed rolls 17, 18. The device may be supported on a counterbalanced arm (8), Fig. 1 (not shown), arranged to engage an electric contact (13) controlling the feed of the scraper tongue. In modifications the tongue may be bent to reduce the overall length of the device or change the angle of application on the belt.
