Abstract

In a multiple assembly of false-twist crimping units on a machine, vertical height is saved in the heat-setting zone by provision of heaters in the form of elongated, convexly curved, optionally grooved, metal bars with their long dimensions oblique to the vertical and disposed side-by-side and closely adjacent to, or in contact with, each other, and across and in contact with the surface of which the yarns travel.
