Abstract

A process for improving the resistance of a moulded or extruded polyvinyl chloride article (being a fabricated article, pipe, sheet &c., but excluding textile yarns and filaments) comprises subjecting the article to a temperature of 80-140 DEG C. for 15-120 minutes and cooling without quenching to ambient temperature.
