Abstract

1,069,994. Conveyer belt presses. SCHWER MASCHINENBAU " HEINRICH RAU ' VEB. Aug. 19, 1964, No. 33883/64. Heading B5A. In a conveyer belt press, side limit strips (2), for profiling the edges of the belt, are actuated by eccentrically mounted discs (3) the discs of each strip being operated in unison by an associated piston driven rack (4). The rack is horizontally disposed and co-operates with pinions (5), mounted on vertical shafts (6) which carry the discs. The forward stroke of the rack is limited by an adjustable stop (8) so that the inner position of each strip may be adjusted and the rack is returned to its original position, to retract the strips, by a compression spring (9).
