Abstract

Antihypercholesterolaemic compositions comprise an antihypercholesterolaemic steroid e.g. androsterone or b -sitosterol and 3-methyl salicylic acid or a pharmaceologically acceptable salt thereof. They may be in conventional forms suitable for oral or rectal administration e.g. tablet, capsule, cachet, suppository or liquid form.
