Abstract

The radiation cross-linking of polyvinyl chloride is improved by the incorporation therein before irradiation of a polyethylenically unsaturated ester, e.g. trimethylol propane trimethacrylate, thereafter submitting the polyvinyl chloride composition to a radiation dosage of 0.5 to 20 M rads.
