Laminar springs. - The eyes b on the back plate a of a laminar spring are formed by forging one or more pins c which, when the end of the spring is bent over, enter corresponding holes in the spring and are riveted, the holes being countersunk to receive the riveting. Thimbles may be inserted in the eyes.
