Abstract
Stencil sheets are made by coating a base tissue that comprises a blend of natural and regenerated cellulose fibres. The natural fibres are of kozo, abaca or mitsumata. The regenerated fibres are made by the process of Specifications 685,631 and 711,642. Coating compositions are exemplified, all contain nitro-cellulose, isopropyl ether, methyl alcohol, castor oil, glycerine, butylhydroxyanisole and methyl violet. Additional ingredients are: (Example A) stearic and palmitic acids, medicinal white oil and titanium dioxide; (Example B) stearic and palmitic acids, isopropyl alcohol and cetyl alcohol; and (Example 3) oleic and linoleic acids and medicinal white oil.
