Fire-guards; fenders.-An adjustable fire-guard, club curb, or the like has a number of tubular bars 3 attached to the top rail and capable of sliding on short fixed bars 2, and on extended guiderods 5, spring catches 9 being provided to hold the movable portion thus formed in its raised position. Seats 8 are formed on the non-adjustable side frames.
