Abstract

In a flat knitting machine additional yarn is laid in from a supplementary feeder the positions of the main and supplementary feeders are reversed each time the direction of traverse of the feeders i.e. the in-lay feeder always leads the main leader for part of the traverse irrespective of direction of traverse.
