Abstract

1,062,164. Ink pads. GUNTHER WAGNER VERWALTUNGS G.m.b.H. June 17, 1965 [June 18, 1964], No. 25624/65. Heading B6C. The ink carrier of an inking pad consists of tightly packed parallel upright wavy fibres of cellulose acetate, more particularly fibres of cellulose triacetate. Natural and polyamide fibres may also be used in conjunction with the cellulose acetate fibres. The triacetate fibres may be treated with glycerine triacetate which causes the fibres to be joined together whilst leaving capillary cavities. The fibres may be of between 1 and 10 denier. The pad may have a cover of thin felt which itself may be covered by a fabric.
