Abstract
1,059,903. Handling radio-active material. COMMISSARIAT A L'ENERGIE ATOMIQUE. March 8, 1965 [March 6, 1964], No. 9772/65. Heading B4Q. A system intended for the analysis of plutonium-containing solutions comprises an elevated central station 1 where capsules containing the solution are received from a pneumatic conduit 2, this station being surrounded by a number of analysis boxes such as 6 and 10 connected by conduits 13 to the station. A capsule is conveyed by gravity along a conduit 13 to the selected analysis box and travels by gravity along a conduit 18 to a basket 20 in an elevator column 19 for return to the station 1.
