Abstract

A selvedge jacquard mechanism has a single cord connected to two mail eyes, one for each selvedge and is threaded through an eye attached to the Jacquard hook controls which controls the two mail eyes in such a manner that the cord can slide through the eye to raise one mail eye and lower the other. A plastics or other deformable material tube can be slide over the eye to secure the cord in an adjusted position.
