1,059,218. Electric analogue calculating. ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Aug. 2, 1965, No. 31530/64. Heading G4G. In an integrating circuit for recurrent, e.g. radar signals; pulses are applied to point X and over resistance potentiometer R 1 , R 2 to energize from junction Z a delay line corresponding to the periodic time interval of the pulses, and an amplifier feeding point Y at the opposite end of the potentiometer from X. Test signals are injected between pulse signals, and are extracted from X and Y through gates 1, 2 timed in correspondence with the test signals to admit them to a comparator; the output of which controls the gain of the delay line amplifier so that consecutive pulse signals are reinforced in the delay loop, and the test signals are excluded from integration. Where # is the loop gain, ## an error in loop gain, and e is a given error in limiting amplitude of the AGC system, so that ## # 0 as # # 1.
