Abstract

Body-armour.-In a shield having a depending flap, the flap consists of a number ot metal plates 2, 3, 4, 5 joined together by resilient strips 7 secured to the plates by rivets 8 or equivalent means. The flap is attached to the shield 1, which is of any known kind, by any suitable flexible means such as by leather strips 9 riveted to the plates. Specification 11012/15 is referred to.
