A flower display stand comprises a base 2 carrying an upright support 5 which releasably supports a plurality of horizontally disposed drainable troughs 19, 20 at selected vertical spacing, the troughs 19, 20 serving to carry water and to support the flowers to be displayed. The upright support 5 comprises a rectangular frame supporting a back panel 8 and is provided with vertical channel or plate member 9 having keyhole slots 10 in which may be selectively secured hook-like brackets 11 each comprising a body 11 with a nut 16 and bolt 15 extending therethrough, the hook portion 17 of the bracket 11 serving to support tongues 18 provided on the ends of the troughs 19, 20. The open tops of the troughs 19, 20 are subdivided by rectangularly bent wire frames 27 hinged to the rear walls 24 of the troughs. A flower supporting strip of wire mesh extends along and is spaced above the bottom of each trough. The lower trough 20 is provided with a forwardly extending drip tray 21. Drainage tubes 31 fitted with removable plugs are provided in each trough 19, 20, each trough 19 draining into the subjacent trough and the bottom trough 20 draining into a removable receptacle housed in the base 2. Advertising matter is displayed on a board 37 and on the front edge of the drip tray 21. The base 2 is provided with a removable top panel 4 provided with apertures to locate spigots formed on the bottom of a container 34 carrying a supply of bags for wrapping of flowers in the sales display. Racks may be arranged back-to-back and additional end troughs are provided.
