Abstract
1,053,136. Valves. CONCORDIA MASCHINENUN ELEKTRIZITATS G.m.b.H. April 1, 1964 [May 24, 1963], No. 13457/64. Heading F2V. [Also in Division H1] In an electromagnetically operated fluid valve having a plunger armature 6 with which cooperates a polepiece 9, the polepiece is mounted, to be capable of adjustment from the outside of the valve as regards its distance from the armature, in an enclosing envelope 3 disposed in an aperture 1a in a coil housing 1 at a position remote from the armature and is firmly connected e.g. by flanging, soldering or welding at its axially inner end to a tube 2 which guides the armature. The envelope is tensioned to the housing by a knurled nut 18, and the polepiece is adjusted via a slot 11 and locked by a nut 17 an interposed washer 15 e.g. of rubber providing a seal. A spring 7 urges the armature against a valve seat, and a non-magnetic plate 19 prevents sticking in e.g. D.C. operation.
