Abstract
1,052,594. Cleaning vehicles. G. PACCAGNELLA. May 31, 1965 [June 4, 1964; Aug. 10, 1964], No. 23145/65. Heading B7J. [Also in Division F4] A wheeled and electrically driven inverted U- shaped vehicle washing frame mounts fixed or movable radial air blowers, Fig. 1 (not shown), which blowers entrain a finely divided washing liquid in a continuous air stream and may be used for drying by means of the air current after the supply of liquid has been stopped. The electrically driven impeller shafts are hollow and mount sprays supplied with a mixture of water and detergent from tanks on the frame. In a modification, Fig. 2 (not shown), the spray nozzle is outwardly of the blower and directed across the airstream therefrom. In Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown) axial blowers are employed and the sprays are arranged either upstream or downstream of the impeller.
