Abstract
1,051,868. Steam raising in forced flow boilers. SIEMENS-SCHUCKERTWERKE A.G. April 24, 1964, No. 17182/64. Heading F4A. A steam power plant includes a once through forced circulation boiler working at supercritical pressure wherein steam is taken off between the preliminary and final superheaters 4, 5, respectively, condensed, and the water reintroduced downstream of the economizer 2 so that a circulation system is super-imposed on the once through system at least during starting and when working on part load. In the path of the returned part flow of steam are arranged condensing/cooling devices 9, 11 and a circulating pump 3. Steam is taken off via conduit 10 at 380-400‹ C., condensed and cooled to 370‹ C. by means of heatexchanger 9 using steam bled from a turbine prime mover in a high-pressure region before being fed to a reheater, and an injector 11 using feed water at 300‹ C. taken off by conduit 12 from between the main feed pump 1 and the economizer 2, control being effected by regulating valve 8 on a signal from temperature control 13. Non-return and pressure retaining valves 6, 7 prevent reverse steam flow. In modifications the heat-exchanger and the injector may be used singly.
