A thermocapacitative device comprises a thermocapacitor mechanically and thermally combined with a thermoelectric element. The thermoelectric element comprises a Peltier device which provides additional heating or cooling for the thermocapacitor which is mounted in contact with one junction of the Peltier device and operates in an autostable state.
